Have a look around. In some entrances to the cave, you may find passageways that lead you deeper...
You may find sekrit excerpts, character pictures, interviews, and much, much more.
Congratulations! You've found your way into the cave...now, will you ever find your way out! (mwah hah hah hah hah)
I know it's a little bit creepy in here, but this is where I keep my deepest, darkest sekrits.
I wrote LOSING FAITH during NaNoWriMo 2007.
It came in at just under 50,000 words, and I had to go back and add some hefty description to bolster me up to a winning word count. I worked from an outline, but made many changes along the way. In fact, a favorite character of mine, Tessa Lockbaum, was not in the outline. She just appeared during the writing and has probably been the most fun character I've had the pleasure to have written.
The first draft took me 21 days. From there, I revised, sent several versions to critique partners and revised some more. In the fall of 2008 I was finally ready to get an agent for LOSING FAITH. After going on submission in January, 2009, the book sold in early March to an awesome editor at Simon Pulse!
